my power steering is leaking really bad would the pump most likly be what need replaces or could it be the cyclinder227tj

Hi, Diane.  There's usually no way to tell what is leaking without visually inspecting the vehicle to determine the source of the leak.  If you can see the fluid actually squirting out, it's likely that it's leaking from a high pressure line.

The most common leaks are via the power steering hoses/lines and not with the pump.
