QUESTION: is it attached to it? I pulled the map sensor off and there is nothing attached to it. The map sensor is all one piece. Does this mean I should replace the MAP sensor? thanks.
AnswerIndeed, you'll need to replace the MAP sensor. Both sensors are integral in this unit; one cannot be replaced without replacing the other.
If you look at the MAP sensor, you'll see that there are four electrical terminals in it. One is for power, one for ground, one for the MAP signal, and one for the intake air temperature signal.
