I need to replace my left front wheel bearing, how do I remove the axle from the knuckle?

Answer
You'll need to separate the ball joint from the knuckle or separate the tie rod end and strut from the knuckle.  Either method, once you've removed the axle nut, will allow you to pull the knuckle out far enough to remove the axle from the knuckle/wheel hub.
