Hyundai Repair: head lights, hyundai elantra, high beams

Question
Head lights would not come on. I did have the high beams available. What could be the problem. 1993 Hyundai Elantra.

Answer
The most likely scenario is that both low beam filaments are burned out.

Other very rare but possible problems:
-- Open circuit in headlamp switch
-- Open circuit in red/green wire between bulbs and switch

All other parts of the circuit are necessary for high beam operation, so cannot cause this issue.
