Is my transmission going?  I have an 01 Elantra and lately when I drive it, the rpms revs between 3 and 5 rpms even if I am not accelerating.  I have replaced the input and output speed sensors and the car is still doing the revving thing that I complained about.  400.00 later...

It sounds like your transmission is slipping.This usually caused by an internal problem. You should have your transmission checked by a dealer. If you are the original owner, transmission is covered by 10 years/100000 miles power train warranty.
