Hyundai Repair: Temperature Gauge, hyundai tiburon, temperature gauge

Question
I have a 2000 Hyundai Tiburon and the Temperature Gauge is stuck in one spot; What is the Cause for this?

Answer
Presuming the gauge is stuck on neither full hot nor full cold and stays in that position whether the ignition is off or on, the issue is the gauge itself.  If my presumptions are incorrect, please follow up with further information so I can advise of other possibilities.
