Hyundai Repair: 1999 Hyundai Elantra GL Wagon Inside Door Handle, hyundai elantra, half of the time

My car's inside driver door handle works half of the time and feels really loose, but the screw is tight into the door. The door will not lock or unlock from inside OR outside so I'm stuck with a non-locking door. Is there anyway you can tell me which parts I need to replace?

In most cases, the inside door handle is broken, sometimes where you're unable to see it.  To check, you can remove the screw holding the handle in place, slide the handle forward to release it from the door and disconnect the rods behind the handle.  You can then inpsect the handle for problems.
