Hyundai Repair: charcoal canister, charcoal canister, aprox

2001 santa fe aprox. 71520 miles check engine light requesting charcoal cnister and canister valve. Is this a must do job or can it wait for $$$$

Answer
As long as you're not having trouble fueling the vehicle, it's not critical.  Presuming there's an issue with proper vapor system venting, the largest problem created beyond the fueling issue will be that the evaporative system cannot test itself for fuel vapor leaks properly.  And since your check engine lamp is already on, you won't know if any other problems are detected.
