Hyundai Repair: transmission, valve body, perimiter

i have a 98 elantra and i have to remove the valve body and the kick down silonoid and would like to know how to do so with removing as little bolts as posible which ones can i remove

You'll need to remove the transmission pan and filter to access the valve body.  If I recall correctly, there are 9 or 10 10mm bolts that make a "U" shape (none along the left edge) around the perimiter of the valve body that must be removed.  

The solenoids come as an assembly.  You'll need to replace all of them, not just one.
