Hyundai Repair: x, hyundai scoupe, fuel management system

Hi,
I have a 1998 Hyundai Scoupe the vehicle is smoking black and is burning alot of gas what may the possible solution for this problem please.

This is likely either a fuel management issue or an internal engine problem.

Is your check engine lamp on?  If so, you should check the trouble codes.  In fact, it's a good idea to read the engine data with a scan tool even if there are no codes.

You might also check the engine compression to see if there's an indication of a mechanical problem.

Please note: Hyundai didn't offer a Scoupe for sale in the U.S. in the 1998 model year.  As a result, I'm not sure what car or engine management system you have.  This doesn't particularly affect the answer above, but I'll need more information if I need to address the specifics of the fuel management system.
