Hyundai Repair: no reverse, range switch, transmission repairs

My 2000 Hyundai wagon with 200,000 miles has no reverse. Could it be electrical?

Technically, it's possible.  But I've never seen it.

Presuming you have an automatic, you should check your range switch and cable adjustment to be sure they're adjusted properly and operating normally.  If so, you're looking at major transmission repairs.
