can I replace a A T F for hyundai elantra 2000 which specified by ATF SP-II M . by any another ATF or not?

Answer
You should use only SPII or the newer version, SPIII.  Use of other fluids may cause transmission malfunction or damage.

You should be able to purchase SPIII fluid at Hyundai, Kia, and Mitsubishi dealers.  Some Chrysler/Dodge dealers may stock it as well.
