I was going off of a drive way when I got stuck I heard a loud clank. Now my car won't act right unless I am in second gear and it takes a long time to speed up. Someone told me when I got a diagnostic ran on it that I just needed a super tune up what do you think.

I'm not sure what a "super tune up" is, but I cannot imagine anything with the words "tune up" in it will address a loud clank and needing to drive in second gear.  It sounds to me like you may have a transmission issue.  

Is this an automatic or manual transmission?

What does your car do when it's not acting right, i.e. in a gear other than second?

Does your car take a long time to speed up because you have it in second gear or is there a separate performace issue as well?
