Hyundai Repair: transmission, transmission shops, drastic steps

I have an 01 Tiburon.  The transmission stops shifting when it warms up.  Just wanting to know should I go for a used junk yard tranny or have mine rebuilt?  What would be an average price for a rebuild? I can get a used one with 60k for $550 plus around 350 to get it put in.

So far, you're jumping to drastic steps.  You should first get your transmission diagnosed, probably by a dealer.  At the very least, you should have the transmission trouble codes read.  Many transmission shops want to rebuild everything that comes in.  You problem may be as simple as a pulse generator or some other sensor.
