QuestionI have an '01 hyundai elantra, misses at low rpm, seems to be running out of fuel, I want to replace filter, but part from parts house is much larger than the one on top of the pump assy. ? Any ideas?
AnswerSounds like you've got the wrong filter. But I doubt the filter is the problem, anyway. A clogged fuel filter will cause high load/high rpm issues, not the low rpm issues you describe. I'd recommend taking a close look at the secondary ignition components: plugs, wires, coil.
