Hyundai Repair: Lumpy at tickover, hyundai lantra, hi john

Hi John

Any advice will be gratefully received.

Suddenly, when my Hyundai Lantra 1.6 GLSi is idling, it is "lumpy" from the engine somewhere & seems to "judder" until I pick up speed, when it disappears.

I have changed the spark plugs (no difference) and I am about to change the HT leads.

If there is anything else I can do by myself, I'd be grateful if you could suggest things.

I am a bit of an amateur when it comes to cars, but can do most things that do not involve taking the engine to bits!

Any advice / suggestions gratefully received.

Dear Ian,
        Did you do a complete tune up job on it if you did.Than you may have a burnt vale in it or it might be a small problem. It might be best to have it put on a machine.
