2019 Kia Sorento - Leaking oil, but OK to drive?

It's not okay to drive a car that is leaking oil. Leaking oil isn’t usually something that can just wait. While it may be safe to drive for a short distance, driving with a leak can cause expensive damage.

- Oil is essential to the proper functioning of your engine, and if it leaks out, it can cause the engine to overheat, seize up, or worse.

- Additionally, leaking oil can damage other components of your car, such as the transmission and brakes.

- On top of that, leaking oil can damage the environment, as it can contaminate soil and waterways.

If you notice that your car is leaking oil, stop driving and take it to a mechanic immediately. The mechanic will be able to diagnose the problem and fix it before it causes any major damage.
