My 1999 Isuzu Rodeo S Manual Transmission has started to make a noise that sounds like it is coming from underneath the vehicle.  It seems to get worse when I press the accelerator, RPMs go up and stops when I shift gears. Any ideas what this could be?

What is it like? a low growling noise or a dull whining noise Kathryn? Worn or broken diaphagm fingers. Worn or bad output/input shaft bearing. A damaged main drive bearing. Contaminated oil or debris in oil. Also it could be caused by excessive engine vibrations.
