Isuzu Repair: Engine Stalling, isuzu rodeo, orignial owner
QuestionI am the orignial owner of a 2000 Isuzu Rodeo with 92,500 miles. A few years ago the engine started stalling when I was driving down the highway. It always immediately restarts. But it will continue to die over and over. However,it only stalls in the summer time with the outside temperature is over 90 degrees. I go through this sequence 7 or 8 times during the summer. When the outside temperature cools down .. no more problem.. until the next summer. I have taken it to the dealer and several mechanics. No one has been able to help me.
AnswerIt sounds like you have a very common problem Patricia. Your main wiring harness ground is loose and causing a no start condition from your computer. Have a mechanic or you look at it and all connections related to this and I bet you will find the culprit. However do not hesitate to ask any other needed questions okay?
