QUESTION: what is the evap system? i'm working on ordering the new regulator
ANSWER: Your evap system catches and recurculates your fuel vapors to and from your fuel tank which helps a litle with your gas mileage, if this is bad or clogged it will wreak havoc on you.it is located near your gas tank, it should be a little black box with lines going in it(if your car is equipped with an evap system)

QUESTION: well i changed the regulator, no luck still no fuel spiting out the injectors. what would be next? it seems the injectors aren't getting a signal pulse. what do you think?
Answerwell if you have good fuel pressure are you sure your fuel pressure sensor is good and you have no kinks or bends causing a no fuel system? If you have fuel pressure then there should be fuel at the injectors, unless you have a bad fuel injection rail, which is not likely.
