Jaguar Repair: 84 xj6 leaking!!!, cylinder problem, passenger tire

Hello,

I have a leak near the front passenger tire on my '84 xj6.
Also, the brake pedal gives little resistance. Would you say
it's a master cylinder problem or a problem with a brake
line?

Hi Alexandra,
You first need to check the fluid level in the brake reservoir under the hood just in front of the driver. (only use DOT 4 fluid) If you have a leak of some kind on the passengers side at a wheel you should have a mechanic look at that right away as it could be dangerous to drive. That could be a line, a flex hose or even a caliper leaking.
