Jaguar Repair: wind shield, wind shield, wiper switch

i have a 1985 xj6 when i put the left or right signal on and turn when it clicks or reset my wind sheild wipers come on is there a way to fix this

Since there are two difference switches for the Wipers and Turn signal, there must be a lose connection on your steering column. Pull off the cover to expose the two switches and tighten the switches. If that do not fix the problem, Check to make sure that the wires are in good condition. You may have to replace the wiper switch. Sam
