Jaguar Repair: Radio Wiring Diagram/Color, radio wires, wire colors

I have a 1987 XJ series & I cannot figure out the wire colors to match to the new radio I am installing. Do you have any idea what should match to what? The current radio wires don't match to the old ones & I cannot find a picture w/ a description. thanks

Hi Colette,
Go to my web site and you can copy the diagram of the 87 series III radio wiring. The speaker wires are not shown but that is a separate plug and you should be able to test which is which in that plug.
