Jeep Repair: 2002 Jeep Liberty Hard to Start, fuel pressure regulator, jeep liberty

Question
How do I change the fuel filter on my 2002 Jeep Liberty?  Is there a fuel filter? When starting it,it seems like it is not getting any gas.  I will start when I press the gas petal to the floor and will run if I "feather" the gas petal, but it quits if I take my foot off the gas.

The fuel pressure regulator and fuel filter are not combined on this vehicle. The main fuel filter is attached to the front of the fuel tank



when u step on the gas pedal  all u do is open a buttery fly to allow air into the engine   the computer controls all aspects of fuel going into the engine.
