Jeep Repair: 2001 Jeep Crand Cherokee Larado, drive shaft, cam sensor

Question
We have replaced camshaft position censor rqn for a couple days now it wont start again so we are needing to know an easy way to get it to TDC to align the gear underneath?

the cam sensor is just the sensor  if the drive shaft that the sensor sits on top of walked around this would be the only reason u would need to put it back at TDC   and once that has been done  U will need a scanner to fine tune it or it will not run right
