QuestionI have a 1998 Jeep Cherokee Sport. While driving in the heat yesterday, my
A/C stopped putting out cold air but kept blowing at its normal rate. This
continued the rest of the day. Today, when I turned on my car to inspect the
A/C, it seemed to be working fine again. Nonetheless, I performed an
inspection of the system, as recommended by my Haynes Manual. As far as I
can tell, everything seems to be functioning normally now. In the event that
this happens again, what might cause this sort of malfunction, and what can I
do to fix it? Thanks!
Answerthere could be several issues at hand, a sensor could be bad,low freon, bad compressor, bad h block or tube, or any number of things into one. Get a hammer net time it stopps leave the jeep running with ac running and hit the ac clutch one good smack and see if u start to work again I see clutches go bad quite often.
