Jeep Repair: Brakes ABS, air bubbles, abs system

QUESTION: OK need scanner to bleed ABS. Can't I jump the pump with a paperclip or something or have the vehicle running to bleed it. I live in Pa. or I would come by and see you. But can you help me out this way. Can you rent a scanner and if so what type.

ANSWER: if u jump them pump u might burn it up.  U can bleed the brakes with out touching the abs system. Bleed them again. What was the reason for u doing this in the first place?

QUESTION: I replaced the front calibers as the left front was sticking and causing the brakes to smoke. Iwas wanting to know how to bleed the system.

get some one else in the jeep  fill the brake fluid up  press on the brakes 3 times and hold the pedal to the floor  then go to each of the calipers release the screw ,tighten it back up and repeat the step until no more air bubbles come out and repeat to all other wheels.
