Jeep Repair: 2002 Jeep Liberty A/C, 65,000 miles, compressor cycles, jeep liberty

Question
Although the a/c has plenty of refrigerant, the compressor cycles on and off at idle rpms.  Is this normal?  If not, what is the remedy?

yeah it it based of of temp and ac pressures. Now if u have high or low pressures where they are not suppose to be  that will also make it cycle.As for whats wrong  I dont know unless u can get me tom high and low side pressure readings.I live in the Atlanta area I would be glad to look at it for u.
