Jeep Repair: lost question, blower motor resistor, jeep cherokee
Questioni asked a question reguarding my 2000 jeep cherokee climate controls. i resubmitted the question because i had not seen an answer for it and then recieved an email saying it had already been answered once but i cannot find my question on here nor can i find the answer...should there have been a link in the email, does it take a certain amount of time to post, i am not sure and any help finding this would be great
thanks
AnswerI can't find the original post but the only other climate control issue I have is this one that follows. Let me know if this is close or help, if not just ask the question again. Thanks and sorry for the mix up.
Question: While i was driving the other day, my A/C turned off. It works on speed 4 as does the heat and vent..so i tested all the fuses and they are good. Do i have to replace the blower motor resistor? Thanks alot
Answer: I don't believe so. It may be a bad selector switch or those speeds of the motor are bad. When a blower begins to go out, high speed is usually the last speed to fail.
