Jeep Repair: Replaced fuel pump wont start at all now, jeep cherokee country, crank sensor
QuestionI have 1996 Jeep Cherokee country with 134,000 miles. It started stalling at lights and wouldn't start for about 25 min. We replaced the pick up coil ran fine for about a week, then it just died and wouldn't start at all. Cleaned all connections, new plugs, new filters and a new fuel pump.It still won't start and all of the lights are going crazy. Please help!
AnswerDo you think it could possibly be the security system? I would try locking and unlocking the drivers door, this should reset the security system. I would also check to see if you are getting spark at your spark plugs. If not check you coil, I have more often then not found a bad crank sensor to be the problem. The crank sensor is on the left side of the transmission bellhousing on the top. Hope you get it fixed!
