How hard is it to change a fuel pump in my 89 jeep cherokee 4 wheel drive 4.0  

Answer
You would need to remove the fuel tank.  Its not too bad to do but is a bit back breaking without the use of an automotive lift.  Be sure you unhook the wires and fuel lines before you lower the tank all the way. You will need a hammer and a punch to take the locking ring off the top of the pump.
