Jeep Repair: AC compressor not getting power, jeep cherokee, ac compressor

Nathan, I changed a burned out bulb in my 98 Jeep cherokee and when I turned the car back on the check engine light was on.  Since then, the idle has been eratic, the A/C compressor has not power going to it, the intrument cluster looses function and comes back when I bang on the dash.  I have checked all the fuses. could you advice me on what to do next?

Really, first you need to check the engine light with a scan tool to figure the problem out.  The dash probably has a wire shorted out, I cant help you on that one though.  I would say the erratic idle and the ac compressor is related.  Hope I can help you!
