Jeep Repair: Catalytic Converter, jeep grand cherokee, jeep repairs

How difficult is it to change out a Catalytic Converter on a 96 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4wd v6? Is there any good resources  on-line as far as how to guides? I was quoted a price around $400+labor.  Is that  a fair price?
any help woud be appriciated.

It's not a hard job depending on you mechanical ability.  I know of no how to sites on the internet regarding Jeep repairs.  $ 400 to me sounds a little steep, check with a reputable muffler shop or two and get quotes, they can usually do it over the phone.
