Land Rover Repair: Freelander tailgate window works backwards

Hi.
My 1999 Freelander Tailgate Window is working in reverse.
When you press open it shuts & press shut & it opens.
And the glass dosen`t drop when you open the tailgate.
Plus the rear wiper & demister don`t work.And when i lock
The Freelander it beeps once,meaning somethings wrong.
All iv`e renewed is the cables,the motor is the original one.
Any ideas?.

Hi Sidney,

you say you renewed the cables and now window works in reverse?  You need to check how you set that up.
