Land Rover Repair: long term parking
QuestionI have a landrover discovery 3. I am travelling for 3 months and need to park and immobilize it. How should I do this? Should I disconnect the battery or just lock the car up in my garage?
AnswerPark it in your garage. Disconnect the battery and then lock the doors with the key. If you immobilize it there is a chance you won't get it un-immobilized on your return. When you come back, unlock all the doors and leave a door opening when re-connecting the battery.
