Land Rover Repair: lost key disco 1 1998, vehicle id number, locksmith

Is there any way of opening my car with out damaging anything so I can take my drivers side door look out and get a key cut to suit the look barrel  thank you for any help

A locksmith will usually have tools to get into your Rover without damage.   If you are locked out that is what I would do as a last resort.  The first thing I would do is call your dealer and give them your vehicle ID number to see if they could get a key cut to order for your car. For newer Rovers that is certainly possible; it's a chance on an older truck like yours
