Land Rover Repair: disco 2003 problems, rear doors, front doors

having problems with my disco 2003 td5, all the doors lock on the key fob but when i press the button to open the front doors and boot open but the 2 rear doors stay locked and have to open them manually ??? any ideas, was thinking of replacing the 2 rear locking mechanisms !!!

My guess is that you are right . . .  the rear door lock/latch units are bad.  If that does not resolve it you will be looking at a body module, which sends the signal to open the doors.  That car has no provision to unlock the front while leaving the back alone
