Land Rover Repair: 2000 discoverycargo door wont open, penetrating oil, land rover

the inside cable is off cant see in there to understand latch any info or photo appreciated

Answer
Pry the Land Rover logo out of the outside handle.  Spray the exposed handle with penetrating oil and work it back and forth.   Have someone inside pull the lock button up and open from the rear outside handle.  Then take the panel off and fix the cable.  You probably need a handle assembly for that
