Will a  2002 Land Rover Discovery  Drivers side electric Mirror
fit a 1996 land rover discovery V8i ?

Hi Graham,

the electrics requirements are different, harness connection and amperage.  As for fitting, the shape and mounting bracket looks different as well.  I suppose if you are willing to swap out the mirror actuator/wirings, do some changes to mounting, you may be able to do this.  May require some dremel work.  Why not just order a replacement '96 mirror from a salvage yard and have it delivered?  I've seen them as low as $35 ; you would have to arrange delivery and this may cost more than the part itself, especially overseas...
