Land Rover Repair: rear door willl not open, recurrance, penetrating oil

my 2000 disco series II,rear door will not open/how do unlock it/open manually.

Answer
Most times you can use a really thin bladed screwdriver to pop out the Land Rover oval, after which you soak the handle (which is then visible) in penetrating oil till it moves back and forth freely and releases.  If that works remember to keep it oiled to prevent a recurrance
