Land Rover Repair: Range Rover 1998 electric headrest, range rover vogue, john robison

Question
I own a 1998 Range Rover vogue with electric headrests.  While you can hear the motor running the headrest in drivers seat doesnt move up or down.  Can this be repaired without damaging the electric seats and what is the possible reasons for this failure.

Answer
You should be able to remove the back of the seat.  With the back off the mechanism is exposed.  There is a gear thingy that lifts the headrest; that's probably stripped.  You should not damage anything getting that apart.
