Land Rover Repair: plug wires for disco, land rover discovery, spark plug wires

I have a 2001 land rover discovery.  I need to replace the spark plug wires.  Is there a way to do this without removing the air intake manifold.  What products do you recommend as replacement parts?

The only way to change the wires is to remove the top of the intake. At Robison service we usually do plugs and coil packs too if they are nine years old

I recommend genuine parts because it's too much work to be worth cutting corners on parts
