Land Rover Repair: central lock, signal receiver, car keys

i have a 2005 landrover LR3 V8 HSE & both car keys are unable operate the central lock system, i ordered the signal receiver & i just want to know where it is installed in the car so i can replace the faulty one thanks.

The signal receiver is very seldom the cause of this problem.  Can you find someone with a T4 or IDS system to talk to the locking and security systems?  You can access repair procedures including r&r of the receiver at www.landrovertechinfo.com but like I said, your trouble is probably elsewhere and it's probably going to require software to sort out.
