Question
i have 2 range rovers 97-98 my sunroof will not slide back. and in tilt mode the right side will raise but left side want in the 97.

in the 98 the roof will side back but in tilt mode left side want let up

It sounds like both your Rovers have broken sunroof tracks.  You have to lower the headliner, then remove the complete sunroof assembly, and take it apart on a workbench to chenge the tracks.  It's a 5-6 hour job; parts are probably $300
