Land Rover Repair: Landrover Dashboard sensors, obd ii scanners, speed sensors

The lights on the dashboard seem to be going off as i drive. and turn off when i turn the car off and back on. the light are the TC, ABS, some little figure where it shows the car on a decline with an exclamation point. i am wondering if this can effect the performance of the truck

Those lights probably indicate a problem with one of the wheel speed sensors.  You have a sensor on each of your four wheels.  You'll need to find a shop with an Autologic or T4 test system to talk to the SLABS computer to extract the codes adn proceed with diagnosis.  The generic OBD II scanners cannot access those systems on a Rover.
