a/c blowing hot air today, worked fine last week.

Can I add freon myself, if so how is it done on this vehicle?  I've done it on american car is this any different?

Hi Jalon,

by Freon, you actually mean R-134a.  Freon is no longer used.

You can add R-134a to the low pressure hose and it will have a cap with an L stamped in it. Follow the directions on the R-134a kit and you'll be ok.  Yes, its the same as any American vehicle.

Note:  should be ok with one can, perhaps two.  You may want to have the system checked for leaks - just in case.
