Land Rover Repair: replacing plenum, ac compressor, valve cover

Question
I have decided to try and replace the plenum and gasket for my 03 discovery.  Is there anything besides the intake manifold that I have to remove and what should I pay close attention to.

There is no special trick to this but it's a long job.  You have to move the ac compressor aside and take off everything on top.  When yo do this job it's a good time to change valve cover gaskets, and also ignition wires.  Neither are accessible without plenum removal.

Good luck with it.  In a shop, this is a job that takes most of a day
