Land Rover Repair: transfer case leaking 2003 Disco, permatex, mroe

I reecntly purchased an 03 Disco SE with 60k miles.  i noticed the transfer case has a minor leak.  Is this something that should be repaired (and is so, is this typically a major job?), or just "lived with"?  I have heard that leaks are common on LR's and usually not reason for great concern. Thanks!

A minor leak is not a big concern, mroe of a nuisance.  From where is it leaking?  Some leaks can be repaired without removing the transfer box, while others are big jobs requiring removal of the transfer case.  Permatex makes a spray product that may seal a minor leak without any repair.
