Land Rover Repair: service engine soon light, check engine light, loose gas cap

Light came on, checked fuel cap, it was not tighten down all the way. Vehicle is
running perfectly. Is there a way to reset, turn off light?  

Answer
A loose fuel cap will trigger an evaporative fault and, thus, the check engine warning light.  Once you have tightened it all the way, the fault code needs to be cleared with a scan tool.  You should be able to do this with a generic scan tool by plugging it in to check for the codes, then clearing them.
