QuestionMy Rover will crank but not start. I recently had a new starter & coil installed so I'm very frustrated. Any clues for me?
AnswerIf it cranks over, your next step is to find out if you've got any spark at the plugs. Pull a plug wire and use a spark tester to see if there's spark there. If not, follow it back. Is there spark at the coil wire? If not, is there a trigger and power at the coil? If not, look to the distrubutor.
If spark is good, do you have fuel pressure?
One of those is probably missing.
